MediaTek’s 5G SoC is the world’s first integrated 5G chip for smartphones

MediaTek has announced the world’s first integrated, Sub-6 5G mobile processor built on a 7nm process, and using the latest ARM Cortex A77 architecture. The chip will power devices launched in early 2020.
